Silverstone TT 1981

Grano/Kelleners would finish second in the race - but won their division. This other 635 fared less well - it retired.
Luigi still built magnificent cars: but this Ladies Camaro retired. The AMC of Markey and Phillips did not start.
If we had competitive Capris looking like this in 1976, we could have continued the Ford vs BMW battle. But that didn't happen. Not very fast in practice: this Monza of Weisheidinger and Herler. It was beaten by group 1,5 Capris. The car retired.
The surprise winner was this Mazda, driven by Nicholson and Walkinshaw. Kindlmann/Quester finished 6th, the Skoda behind won its class in 15th spot.
The Beccara car again. Looks like they all had the same paint job; but this is an Italian BMW which finished third in class.
We promised some Audi coupés last year; this is the Spiess car of Bergmeister/de Madrid, which retired... ... just like the Votex car of Seikel and Rosterg.
Delcourt and Baert in their BMW 530; result unknown. Woodman and Buncombe finished fifth, second in the TTE class.
