... while Tjan would win his class. The immaculate NMB Capri of Akersloot, which would win this race.
Behind him Siewertsen fighting with Vermeulen. Vermeulen had another disapponting outing - this time the gearbox played up.
Hans Ernst, the future Circuit director, retired with the troublesome Datsun 240Z. Frans de Vos in the 1972 Capri, with rear spoiler...
Altough he would not win this race, Siewertsen would be the surprise 1974 champion, a great achievement for the ex-Ford Mexico racer. Cees would even find the time for a test drive at Zolder in a Brabham BT42...
