Spa 24 hours 1965

The pitlane at 14:30 hours; some R8 Gordinis in front. Enrico Pinto's TI Super - I always thought a TI Super had only two headlights, like the #22 next.
The Dutch Racing Team Holland BMW, with Hans Koster and Gijs van Lennep. They would retire. The start, with a Kadett coupé and a Fiat 2300 S amongst others. I was going to write "Happy days!", but let's not forget Spa had a very grim face too, especiallly in the 60's and 70's.
Eric De Keyn and Jean-Marie Lagae on their way to second overall and a class win.
Enrico Pinto and Giancarlo Galimberti fared less well.
An oil pressure problem ended their race - and they might have hit something... A British Cortina Lotus, with (Barrie?) Williams, Bill Allen and Ted Lund finished 19th overall.
John Terry and Andrew Hedges won the 1000 cc class and finished a fine seventh overall.
