The world's last major Group A championship grew to nine races; the grids were more or less the same as in 1992, with up to seven Nissan Skylines. Kageyama and Hoshino dominated class A1 with four wins, while their competitors each had a single victory. Class A2 was comparable with five wins for Gilbert-Scott and Nakaya, while the smallest class was the most closely contested: Hattori/Kaneishi champion with four wins against three for Nakako/Kageyama.
