All-Japan Touring Car Championship
world's last major Group A championship grew to nine races; the grids
were more or less the same as in 1992, with up to seven Nissan
Skylines. Kageyama and Hoshino dominated class A1 with four wins, while
their competitors each had a single victory. Class A2 was comparable
with five wins for Gilbert-Scott and Nakaya, while the smallest class
was the most closely contested: Hattori/Kaneishi champion with four
wins against three for Nakako/Kageyama.
