For
1987, much was expected from the Sierra Cosworth, but the championship
was dominated by the JPS BMW M3 of Jim Richards who won his class 8 out
of 9 races with high overall scores - enough to claim the championship
ahead of the Nissans of Seton and Fury. In fifth was the first
Australian cxar, the Commodore of Larry Perkins.
