For what I know, the Belgian scene wasn't as heated as 1980 and there were still plenty cars around. The Capris were still a force, but some Camaros did a good job as well. But none as good as the tiny 2500-class TWR Mazda of Dieudonné which won its class with ease (now there's a parallel with the UK!) and won the championship. The "Promotion" division was won by Menage and his Golf with an even bigger lead - his car was the class of the field.
