As usual, 1974 had mix of ETCC races and Spanish venues, where the ETCC meetings had much higher coefficients for the championship. The championship, again, was won by Ford with the ageing Capri of Torredemer. There were two other titles ("Trofeos"): Bellmore won the title for national cars while Juaranz won the title for national cars Group 1 under 1300 cc.
