The 1974 Belgian Championship was a mixed bag of Group 1, Group 1B, Group 2, 3 and 4, but the races and classes were cleverly combined and the entries were quite okay for such a small country. Peltier had a giant mishap when he missed the start of one race, but it came good in the end and he was crowned Belgian Champion.
