This very first Touring car championship in Holland had only three races counting for the championship. The only championships which there was a real fight was for 1300 and 1600 cc cars; in the first, American Wilson seemed to have an edge over his opponents, but Nerden won the last two races and was champion. The 1600 cc class was a fight between Heidendahl and Strous, with the first one claiming the championship - but all eyes were on someone else, only entered in the last race: young Wim Loos.
